Pastors Chris and Nish have been married for 17 years, beginning their journey together at just 21 years old. Over the years, they’ve grown not only as husband and wife, but as best friends who genuinely enjoy doing life, family, and ministry together.

Their ministry journey is deeply rooted in The Rock San Antonio, where they were part of the core leadership during the church’s genesis in 2010. Over the years, they faithfully served and assisted in multiple areas of ministry, growing in leadership, faith, and a heart for God’s people.

In time, God placed Austin on the heart of their Apostle, Kevin Duhart Sr. and Pastors Chris and Nish were sent out to plant The Rock Austin, extending the vision, spiritual heritage, and Kingdom assignment of The Rock into a new city. The Rock Austin is not simply a church that was started; it is a branch that was sent, planted, and connected to a greater story.

With more than 15 years of ministry experience, their lives and leadership are rooted in a deep desire to see people encounter God in a real and transformative way. They believe the power and presence of God changes everything, and they are passionate about building a community where people love God first and love one another well.

Their heart for The Rock Austin is to demonstrate what it looks like for the Kingdom of God to be alive on earth, through authentic relationships, a culture of love and service, the power and presence of God, and a daily commitment to walking with Christ.
